About our Christmas Lights...

It took us 14 days to erect our display, which includes 5 days just to do the wiring.

We have a total of 135 transformers and 25 000 lights. A total of 2000 bulbs have been hand painted with special glass paint from Santa's Workshop for the 2007 Christmas Lights display alone.

If we were to lay out all the wiring, it would probably stretch a couple of kilometres or more!

We would like to say a big thank you to Santa's Workshop and Angel Xmas Lights (Livewire Lighting) for helping us make our display one that we hope you really enjoyed.

All coloured bulbs on the silhouettes are hand painted. We use a computer and controllers to create animation. The increased cost on our power bill for the 3 months is approx $35. I am not an electrician by trade, but am very competent in the electrical field and all our display is checked by our electrician.

Credits must go to: Dudley - our electrician, Bill - a local Rocky resident who manufactures some of our silhouettes for us as per our designs, Lorne from Livewire Lighting and Kerrie and Livio from Santa's Workshop.

You can see our display each year at 173 Mason Street, North Rockhampton, Queensland and our lights are on from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm each night for the full month of December- except when there are storms or general rain.
